Although I am taking a break from WW and doing Atkins (with the hope os jumpstarting my weight loss) I am very caught in the middle with both. I find on core, the foods I eat are very repetitive since I am allergic to seafood and don't care much for pork or lamb.
When I am on Flex, I find that I am very hungry and don't always have enough points to fulfill my hunger.
Overall, I think I am more of a core fan because the hunger is not there. The cravings disappear. I will go back to WW for maintenance and will most likely follow core.

Re: Poll for WW women (and men)
Thats a good point...I'm thinking of doing the points because I'm a pan in the a$$ when it comes to eating...I think my mom has an extra point thingy so hopefully I can get hers

Re: Poll for WW women (and men)
I'm doing points. I originally started with WW like three years ago during their 'Winning Points' program. It worked well for me (until I went off the program due to personal issues that I needed to deal with). I find the points program is just easier and keeps me more in check.

I am on Flex Points now. I found just from reading that the core plan could be kinds of hard to follow. I didnt know if other people found it hard to follow though.
For the core users, do you think it is easier to follow the core plan, or harder? Thanks, Scott

Re: Poll for WW women (and men)
I just signed up and am going to try the Core plan. I printed out some of the reading on it and for me it seems easier to follow - not as much measuring and checking serving/portion size as the points.
Plus I think carbs are my issue and this plan def. limits that, which I need...
Good luck to all of us

Re: Poll for WW women (and men)
I've been doing the flex plan. I need that structure- I'm likely to abuse the core plan (I can eat steak until I bust).
I was very hungry for the first week or so on the flex plan. My team leader told me I wasn't eating enough fat throughout the day, and my body was still getting used to the plan. By week 2 I wasn't hungry anymore.
At this stage (16 weeks), I don't measure anymore. I know what 3 oz of chicken looks like, I know what 1 cup of milk is.
Also, I like the variety of flex. I don't dip into my weekly points as much. It's nice that at the end of the day, if I come in under my daily points, I can eat some garbage without counting them from my weekly (which I save for one disgusting night of splurging).

Points! I like to know that I can eat a chocolate chip cookie if I want.

Re: Poll for WW women (and men)
I did Flex and did very well on it....until I abused it, 2 pounds away from my goal.
ANYWAY....
I started Core and loved it! Lost 5 pounds in the first week too! I needed something that told me what I could eat and what I'd have to pay for (in points) I like the fact that you can have the cards (brown rice, whole wheat pasta, etc)
As far as over-eating, I honestly never felt like I would eat an oversized steak or anything....maybe because I actually can, I don't want it.

I've always done the points. Its a nice change from South Beach where certain foods are banned. This way I can have variety.
