Help! Great Sale on Faux Fur, and I need some opinions. First pic, my dress - it is not white, more of an ivory/gold.
I bought the first coat a few weeks ago - FANTASTIC sale more than 60% off.
I also LOVE the little jacket in white and it's now 30% off. Which jacket/coat do you like for my dress. Is it not a good idea to wear the white jacket with an ivory dress? I just think it's so cute I really want it.
I also plan to keep/wear either or both - fur is supposed to be a hot item this fall/winter.
I was considering a stole or a capelet but I'd never wear it again and if it is cold enough that I'll need something I'd prefer a jacket/coat.
I put neither... Are you planning on wearing it on your wedding day? I am confused as usual.

I'm not sure how the 1st one will work with your dress. It seems to come down past wear your skirt begins to get full, & may not lay right.
I thought the 2nd one was too casual, but it may work. I don't think the color is a problem.

I love the first one!!! I would buy that in a heartbeat if I saw it. Who cares if it matches your dress exactly. I would go with the first one since your dress is ivory/gold.

I think the length of #1 would be awkward with the dress. #2 might work. Do you have a swatch of the dress so you can compare the colors? The jacket looks stark white and may not work with ivory/gold.

My vote would be the short, white one. That is a really cute idea. But if I was you, I would do a mink stole or muff!

i dont think the first one would work it isnt dressy enough and the second one will work better but you have to compare the colors. you will never get the color to match exactly they just have to compliment each other. i had a coat made to go over my dress and i did in velvet so i didnt have to worry about matching fabrics.

Thanks for the input. I am planning on wearing what ever I get for wedding day and then for the rest of the winter. I refuse to pay $150 for a wedding cape that I'll NEVER ever wear again.
Here's why I want it, for the last 3 years it has snowed BIG the first weekend in December so I figure the more OVER prepared I am the less of a chance of snow there will be...that seems to be how things in my world work.
I am glad I posted and some of you commented about the length. I think still get the little white jacket. I think it is too 'white' to wear with my ivory dress even if it is only for a few minutes in and out of home/church/reception but I want it for the winter anyway.
I am going to watch ebay for a faux fur stole.

I said Neither. I went for a faux fur off Ebay for less than $60 But I bought a wrap. Jackets just seem off to me with bridal gowns. JMO

i agree with not spending alot of something you will only wear once im speaking from exprience. i had mine made and spent way too much if i had to do it over i would have bought something less expensive

I agree with the whole jacket thing not going with a bridal gown. JMO as well.
