Chocolate fountain or no chocolate fountain. The price doesn't bother me, I am just not sure if it is neccessary.

At first I wanted it... but then I was thinking... Chocolate all over ppls hands, then ppl hugging me goodbye.. White dress... It didn't add up to me...
But I really do still want it... But I sometimes thing its OTT...

I sort of agree. I think yum! And then I think of my mom saying how she was at a wedding and one of the kids was just covered in chocolate and she was so worried the kid would hug the bride. Yikes!
Oh, that and I'm cheap and would rather save the money!

I'm probably in the minority, but they kind of gross me out. I feel like people stick their fingers in them or something...Like they;re really germy. I never go near them at weddings because in addition to the germ thing, I always make a mess of myself...

I'm with you! The idea of it is cool but I wouldn't call it a must have for everyone.

I'm not a chocolate fountain kind of person. If my hall threw it in for free I would probably ask for something else instead.

I say skip it. I didn't want one, but it was a big deal to my mom and since she and my dad are paying for the entire wedding I'm letting her have it, but if that wasn't the case we wouldn't be having one.
ETA: I'm so glad I'm not the only one who doesn't love the chocolate fountain!

If you really want it, go for it. It could be a big mess though. I would have a box of hand wipes so people won't have to keep jumping in and out of the bathroom. Just keep a basket filled with them near by. Either way, I'm sure everyone will be happy.

I was not a fan TIL I went to a wedding with one. YUMMY!!!! It was not too mess and it was soo good. I booked mine.

I've been to weddings that have had it and it's not messy at all. Anything you dip in you have a long stick and it's just dipped, not like it's being poured on. I'm having one at mine with an ice cream bar and flambe. I love chocolate though so I'm partial and I've seen it done at weddings and everyone loves it
