Personally, I like low simple buns. But it really depends on your face (shape), the dress and your headpiece to get the perfect look.

I have thick, heavy hair, so I will probably be going for low. when my hair is all up high, it feels like I have a migrane when they pull it tight Plus I have always liked the look. But I am planning on having a trial once my headpiece and veil are ready to decide.

Thanks for all the responses! My dress is strapless and I am not wearing a veil - just a few fresh flowers in my hair. I have two hairstyles I am thinking of - I just have no idea how to post them. These are the links:

and I am trying to find the picture of the second one. I know the picture is from www.weddingchannel.com and it was posted on here awhile back - an updo with three white flowers on the right side of the updo. Does anyone have that pic?

It reallydepends on the dress and what looks best on each person. Also It depends on the veil

Great site Christine!! I love those hairstyles. I always thought I wanted a high updo, until I saw the low bun post the other day. But I am probably like JennRenee-I don't think a low style would look good on me.
