1. Laundry --- depends. for a long time it was me, but then i started teaching so dh did it but now it will be shared. 2. Cooking ---- both. 3. Vacuuming - both 4. Bathrooms - me 5. Dishes/Kitchen - share dishes, i clean kitchen 6. Bedrooms - me 7. Takes out Garbage - both 8. Straigtening up - both but i am more effective...he'll straighten piles but i actually put things away

I have to say that I do the whole list, Dale has gotten in the habit of taking out the garbage but I am the one who takes in the cans.

Ok, we split all of the chores. However, DH cooks more often and much better than I do. I do these chores more often, but DH does a lot. I have to tell him outright sometimes, and then there are times when he does it on his own. We are still working on this.

If I ask him, he'll do it, otherwise he's oblvious to the things that need to get done. But we've only lived together for 3 weeks so hopefully that'll improve real soon because I am exhausted after this weekend

Laundry: I usually put the clothes in the washer, he usually carries then down to the laundry room, we both fold
cooking: both, but he likes to do more 'gourmet' type things, whereas I do the traditional, 'we need to eat' kind of meals
Vacuuming: both. but I make him compensate by doing the stairs since he NEVER cleans the tub
Bathroom: ME
Dishes/Kitchen: we share the dishes, but mostly me because he puts dirty dishes in the dish washer and then they have to be redone...
Bedroom: both
takes out the garbage: HIM
