Poll: How do you surf LIW?

I keep seeing threads where there are multiple replies that say the same thing, but by different people.

It makes me wonder if everyone reads the whole thread before they reply? Or just read the first one and then skip to the bottom to reply?

Just curious.

i have to agree with you on that one. I think people definitely just read the first one and then skip to the bottom of the thread.

What did you think of the movie? I was dissapointed. I didn't think it lived up to the book.

I didn't see the movie. In general, I don't like to see the movie if I've already read the book. it kind of 'taints' it for me.

love the HHGTG referance.

I saw the movie and read all the books recently, and I think that i was a wonderful adaptation. You have to remember that they can only put so much in the 2.5 hour timeslot that movies are now. Plus the screen play was actually written by Adams before he pasted on, so I think that we still got to see his vision for the movie.

As for the tread question, I only reply if I've read the entire thread.

I had a problem with the acting, not so much the script or what they fit in. I love Mos Def and that girl (I forget her name) but I didn't think the rest of them did such a great job.

I skip through it occasionally. If its a thread about something I'm Really interested in (like CLM) then i read the whole thread.

I think 95% of the time, I read the entire thread... the other 5%, I just reply to the initial thread.

Almost every time, though, I reply immediately and THEN read through all the other replies.

Interesting question....

Then I'll go back later and read the replies after me.

Yeah... I'm addicted to this website.
