Poll: How honest are you?

From time to time, we see posts of others dresses, cp's, and ideas. When asked, 'What do you think?'...how honest are you?

I know if I dont like it, I just dont reply.
I guess it is an opinion and u are entitled so I dont know why I worry.

If I can offer suggestions on how to change something slightly, while not losing the personality of the person, I will be honest. If it is a matter of taste, I won't offer my opinion.

when i do not like something i will sometimes say so...sometimes not

I usually don't reply when I don't like something. Unless the bride is looking for constructive things.

When I relpy, I am being completely honest. And if I don't like something, I typically don't reply so as not to hurt anyone's feelings.

SOmetimes I reply ...but many times I don't. Sometimes I don't think people want honest opinions though

i sometimes do not reply. even tho the person is asking for the honest opinion i get pressured not to reply due to many other ppl posting at how much they absolutely love, love, LOVE teh object. but it depends on the circumstance. when i do reply it's for something very very miniscule. i def weigh my options when i come across 'i need your honest opinion.'

I agree. For the most part, I follow Mom's advice that 'If you don't have something nice to say......' - I just don't respond at all.

i live by 'if you have nothing nice to say...' it gets too nasty around here if someone says do you like these tell me honeslty, and soneone doesn't like whatever it is and it becomes a whole big to-do. i look and think to myself, no i don't like it, and move on.

I think that is true. I think sometimes people want validation, rather than an opinion. I don't reply if I don't like something.
