im aiming for about 6-7 weeks ... lol they normally say 6-8 but im trying to give my guests less time to rsvp in hopes people dont forgot about doing it

me too I am getting married memorial day weekend so I wanted to send them out earlier plus my rsvp date was wrong forcing me to send them earlier then planned

I am going to send my invites out 10 weeks before the wedding. That will give my guests 8 weeks to send back the RSVPs.

I'm mailing them out in late March. . .many people like to make summer/holiday plans for the weekend of my wedding, so even with STDs, we want to 'lock them into' the date. Plus, who doesn't like mail?

I think about 8 weeks before..like Mazz, I don't wat to give people too much time and then forget to RSVP..here's what we're thinking:
Mail Date: week of August 3rd RSVP Date: Sept 3 Wedding: Oct 3
