We fell in love with the first one we looked at, and we went to a 2nd one and hated it. I realized I wasn't going to find another one I loved. i had a lot of info from my sister who was married alst eyar and of course from LIW, and NRC really had everything I wanted.

We looked at close to 20 before deciding on one. It was actually the last one that we looked at.

I went to almost 20 halls all over the place. Some were in CT, some were in New Paltz and I booked in LI. I went on quite a mission to find my perfect hall.

I looked at 30. My wedding planner didn't do the best job of narrowing the field (this was the person I had prior to Elaine who is just fabulous!)

We looked at a little more than 10 places. We went to Villa Lombardi's first. Bri and both fell In love with it. We had to check other places just incase there were any doubts. But at the end we went back to Villa and booked them.

Only three, but I knew from the beginning that we wanted to have it at Crest Hollow, we just had to save a little more to be able to have it there and we did.

We looked at 6. We knew were were having it at a temple, so that narrowed down the field a lot!

I dont even want to go there. i dragged monkeyluv around with me to about 15 places and my other friend on here noon. they are real troopers. it was not an easy desicion. but glad it is over with. im sure i would still be looking if it wasnt for them. LOL I have great friends.

We made 3 appointments in one day. First we went to Flowerfield b/c it was highly recommended. We left half way through the tour, b/c we knew it wasn't what we were looking for. Then we drove out east to see Atlantica, which is where I really wanted to have the wedding. FI made an appointment at Harrison House (where he had his prom), so we went there- and I totally fell in love with it and changed my mind about having a wedding all of the way out east.
We did a lot of research online first to narrow it down...which we both have a greater attention span for than going to a million places. When you find the place, you'll know...

I looked at 3 and the third was my final choice. I actually went to NRC 1st and had the $$$ not been a problem...I would of chose them. I thought the place was beautiful and that there is one wedding at a time was great.
I didnt want to run into 20 different and getting confused with each one and making a decision. Its bad enough to get that part out of the way, its a biggie decision!!
