Poll: How many weeks before your wedding did you send invitations?

This would be REALLY helpful. And if you haven't sent them, how many weeks before your wedding do you intend on sending them?

Sept wedding -- planning to send group A out at 11 weeks and then based on no's received, 8 weeks for group B.

I sent my invites out about 8 1/2 weeks before the wedding.

I am sending mine out the first week of December, which is 11-12 weeks before. I didn't send out save the dates so I figure the extra time will be good for out of towners.

I think it was 9. 4 weeks before the rsvp date which was 5 weeks before the wedding.

I was told 8-10 weeks. I plan to send them at 10 weeks so I still have time to send the 'B' list out without cutting it close.

I mailed mine out 7 weeks before RSVP date which was a month before my wedding.

I sent mine out 8 weeks before. (I had also sent STDs earlier, if I hadn't, I would have sent my invitations 10 weeks before wedding since we had mostly out of state guests)

Ok, so, does this work?

Wedding Date: April 3rd
RSVP Date: March 5th (4 weeks and 1 day)
Send Date: January 25th (5 1/2 weeks before RSVP date)

Totals 9.5 weeks - is that too early?

(I'm trying to figure out if I have time for custom invites.)
