POLL: How Much a Month? - Telephone

How much is your monthly local & long distance plan?

I have Verizon unlimited calling for local and long distance. The plan itself is $59.95 but of course, with the taxes, et al, it's about $80.00/month. FH swears we can do it cheaper but I like not having to worry about the time I spend on the phone or having to use my cell for long distance calls every time. My sister lives in GA so we're on the phone for like an hour at a time. Cell phones get damn hot by the end of that hour!

$40 something a month. we don't make many long distance calls (or local for that matter... we should probably cancel it)

Mine is any where from $100 to $130 a month.

I make a lot of international calls.

FH thinks it's too much money in addition to cell phones. He said I can always just use cell phone for long distance. Or the 5 cents an hour thing. Just don't know.

I feel like I'm in that commercial. 'If you don't get enough minutes then we're going to charge you $9,000,000 a minute. and if you get too much, well then it's just a waste!'

We have two lines in the house and pay about $70/month.

If you don't mind switching phone numbers, go with Optimum Voice. It is a set 35 a month total I believe. Adn that includes all. I called to get it but just sent out wedding info to people and want them to have our current number to call us and not think we moved. I have Verizon too and it is ridiculous.

We have one bill for 2 cell phones, DSL and local calls - we use our cell phones to make long distance calls and got rid of our long distance package on our house phone - it saves us a bunch of $$ a month!

my mom lives overseas, so i call her all the time, i tried using calling cards, but they're a waste, i use most of my minutes saying ma can u hear me.

i dont even know- we dont really make long distance calls. our bill comes to about $55 a month for everything...

we have OptimumVoice, so it is all included...I buy a calling card to call overseas, so it costs me $20 everytime I have to biuy a new card (Usually once every 3 months or so)

It costs $39.95 a month, but you have to subscribe to OptimumOnline

we pay about $50.00 per month on Verizon without long distance and about $50.00 per month on Verizon Wireless which we use for long distance... so I guess it is costing us about $100
