79.95 for a Sunday before a holiday in May! $103 with tax and gratuity! I think we got a great deal considering the next day everyone will have off!

Re: POLL: How much are you paying p/p?
I am not posting my price per plate because every contract has its nuances, inclusions and exclusions. So speculate away!
There are differences between the on and off season. There are differences between afternoon and night. There are differences between Friday vs. Saturday vs Sunday.
In my case, sure we are paying less per head because it is in February, but we are paying more for Saturday night and we are paying more per head to have a sushi bar(complete with chefs) and baby lamb chops vs. a sushi table (sushi just on a table). Some might say 'Why is she paying more to have sushi chefs? Lets just say its 'my chocolate fountain. '
The same wedding in May would cost us about $25 more per head. I would rather have the weather be a little chilly with everyone I love there, than have a small wedding just to have it in the height of wedding season. We never had any intentions of having pictures taken outside so I won't miss that.

I guess I don't get why a bride would 'roll her eyes' at another bride. It is a simple question and if we want honest answers we shouldn't make fun of those who contribute. Just my opinion-no need to roll your eyes at someone because they are paying more than you. They are paying more than me too, but it's their money to spend. Maybe this wasn't the intention, in which case you should choose your comments more wisely.

This is precisely another reason why I refused to post what I am paying per plate. It is nobody's business. If I had the great fortune to spend $500 a plate and not go into hock I would. People in Manhattan don't blink at $$$ like that.

I completely agree with you Lenore, thank you for commenting! I actually put the question mark up b/c I didn't understand why BOTH comments where made! It really wasn't the nicest icon/face to use, I was answering it honestly and there are a few other FF girls that posted on here also. That is the price we are paying, there is no reason for comments esp rude ones, I honestly don't care if you are paying more or less than me, this thread isn't really asking that!

'zactly-I would have a Saturday night wedding in May at Atlantica if I had the funds to pay for it. Meanwhile, I certainly do not begrudge those who can afford it. All the more power to you.
