It really all depends on how you feel about flowers. Some girls love them and its the most important aspect of the wedding. Others that arent too crazy about flowers dont put too much money aside in their budgets. What are you looking to have?

I am spending $500. I am only getting personals - nothing in the reception hall at all. If I have $$$ left over (although I doubt it!) I will get 2 pieces for the church at $65 each.

We are on a TIGHT budget and flowers are the least of importance to us.

From what I understand, it really depends on a bunch of things:

1. What kind of flowers-some are REALLY expensive

2. Is it in season

3. High/Low centerpiece

4. How many centerpieces and bo-k's you need

The original proposal from my florist was around $4500, but I'd like to keep it under $4000.

scattered petals wherever need
dozen rozes (for throw away bo-k)

$1200, does not include anything for the chuch or the reception hall (small centerpieces are included, I may upgrade if the $$ is there!)

as little as possible. My reception hall will do the flowers for a small added fee, my mom is decorating the church for about 100 so all thats left is my flowers, my MOH, corsages for the moms and grandma, and the bot's for the guys. Hopefully under 500.

I agree with you! I'm makingmy centerpieces and i just did a sample and WOW i had no clue i could be so damn crafty.

Thats how much flowers cost ekkk! That i will be throwing away in a matter of a few hours....

$3500 - I am madly in love w/ John from Flower Michele and just to hang w/ him is worth every single penny (the absolutely amazing flowers are like a bonus ) !!!

I know what you mean, I met with and booked with John from Flower Michele last week. I went in there not knowing anything that I wanted and came out of there with two full sheets of flower stuff for my wedding. He was great and can't wait to see what he puts together for my wedding.
