Poll: How much did you spend on hair/makeup trials?
Just a poll: how much did you/are you spending on all your hair/makeup trials? How many of each did you go to? I think I could go broke just from trails because I am very picky and need to try a few people.

I spent $45 on the trial with Jillian of Gorgeous Faces (I highly recommend her). It's $125 for my wedding day, $65 for my MOH.

I went to 3 makeup trials, paid $25, $80 (MAC trial so I had to buy 5 products), and $30 which was w/ Denise-Angel Eyes and I booked her. Its going to be $125 the day of for me.
Hair- I only did one trial with Tarale, cost me $50, day of will be $125.
Trials can add up! My suggestion is to look at the artists' websites, do searches for them on here to see if girls posted trial pics, and then go w/ the artist whose style you feel most comfortable with.

Eveyone I am interested in wants $100-$150 per service for trials. They all seem to be from the city. Anyone good from Long Island seems to be less expensive is booked on my wedding day.

try that link, I called a few girls from it and the average trial price was $75, $100-150 is too high for a trial! Unless you mean its for both hair and makeup. But the artists in the city tend to charge more than the ones on LI

no, I ment per service. $100-$150 for hair and also then $100-$150 for makeup.

I went on 2 makeup trials and spent $50 total. One was free!!
I went on 4 hair trials and spent $100 total. 2 of them were free. I am going to go on at least one before the day of, so that wil be another $50.

I had 6 trials for make up--and spend $145 for the trials. Hair, I only had 1 and it cost me $75
