POLL: How Much Did Your BM Dresses Cost (Before Alterations)

I'm curious to know how much your BM dresses cost before alterations. (Please vote for the cost the girls paid, taking any discounts into account)

If you wouldn't mind posting what the cap on alterations was, I'd appreciate that, too.

We ordered off of netbride and got them for $128 and that included shipping to three different locations (one of which was London). They were $165 in the stores. I think that the cap at Fantasia was $85 if they bought the dress there and $95 if they didn't.

my current dress choice is about $110

(+$30 or $40 for plus size and $45 for alterations, dress still comes out to $200)

Regularly $139 but with my discount my BMs got them for $119.

I think $200 from Ann Taylor Celebrations.

Only one of them needed actual alterations and another one just needed a hem taken in. They went to a local cleaners to get it done. Also, I know that two of them have worn the dress again since the wedding.

We ordered from Helen's Boutique and my BM chose an Alfred Angelo dress that was around $140. They took their dresses to get altered elsewhere b/c they lived out of state.

We also used AT Celbrations dresses...they were just under $150 after applying a coupon...only 2 of the five girls need alterations and I gave them the option to have them done for free (my MIL is a seemstress)

BUT 4/5 of them also got the matching shoes (which I didn't tell them they HAD to get but was not so sercretly pushing for) so total cost for them was $230...which I now realize was a bit of a lot to ask for (IMO)

the Alfred Angelo separates that my BM wore were about $140 each without alterations. I believe alterations were capped at $60.

Mine were $250, but I asked the girls first if that was too much, they said it was worth it because the material of the dress is so great and the dresses are flattering on everyone's different body types.

I chose the designer, material and length and let my girls choose the dresses they wanted. (Jasmine B2, chiffon and floor length). Most of their dresses were over 170 but at Burtons they came out to 120-140. Their alterations were capped at 45-50. Hope that helps.

$145.00 + tax (with out alterations I beleive $75.00 cap on alterations) but my girls also get a 10% discount because they are ordering there dresses where I ordered my dress...

since i didn't pick dresses for my girls i voted for one i will be wearing on july 7th...love it...it's mori lee...after taxes 118 and then the cap and alterations is 55
