POLL: How Much Do You Give When You Attend Weddings?
When you attend a wedding with your DH/FH, how much do you give combined? And does that price include tax and shipping?

Based on what we received, we'll now give $300 for a typical NY wedding. Considerably less for OOT, cash-bar, no CH weddings.

Min. $200 Most $350 unless it is someone like a brother, sister etc. then we give alot more

Depends on how we know the person. Family/close friends obviously get more than just a coworker.

Usually $300, but I gave one of my close friends $400 last year.

what do you mean tax and shipping????
i usually give $300 cash gift and this is the first time i buy from a wedding registry..
so i was choosing and picking, and got something around $320. and when i was checking out, i noticed i forgot about tax, and shipping... which costs about $40!! so the total became $360!
i mean, i know it's only $40 difference, but i'm just wondering when people say they give a $300 gift, does it include shipping??

Ohh ok b/c most people in NY give cash at weddings and gifts off the bridal registry at the shower

I give $300 standard and then if it is someone close, I give more.

$250 or $300 standard. Close family we give more. When my SIL gets married we will probably give $500.

It depends on who's wedding I am attending...if it's aquaintance either like $200-$250 but if it's a close friend or relative $300 or more.
