can someone explain to me WHY they dont like porn so much......there are diffrent levels of porn......soft to hard core......i feel hard core is to much but the naked body never hurt anyone

i answer you jonn. there is a difference between the made up pam anderson wannabees /playboy playmates and 16 year old girls posing. it is disgusting. as a teacher, i hate seeing these young girls posing for such pictures. why???

I'm probably going to be the odd girl out about this... but I don't find porn to be all that objectionable.
It has it's place. You just have to remember what that place is and not get seduced by the 'dark side'.
BTW: i am talking about pics/movies/whatever that takes place between ADULTS and not anything else!!! The rest of that crap should be burned with the publishers on top!

It always amazes me how much this topic bothers some women! Porn has never bothered me. I guess (IMO) I just realize (and truly believe) that men are very visual creatures, I don't feel like FI is comparing me to the women in those pics/movies at all. I definitely don't feel that looking at pics is a form of cheating. I just don't get jealous - in fact, FI and I have watched porn together and I feel it just enhances things. Honestly, maybe it's because porn is not a big part in FI's life. As far as I can tell, he looks at it on the computer sometimes and once in awhile we'll rent something from OnDemand. I guess if it were more of a habit, things might be be different.
Guess I'm in the minority.....

Maybe it's weird -- but my DH actually prefers 'cartoon' porn. ie: WonderWoman and Superman doing their thing as well as the Japanese 'anime porn'. I find it kinda cool, and some of the art is really good. How can a girl get jealous over that?

It's funny b/c I tend to be quite jealous, but porn doesn't truly bother me. Of course, if it got to be more than a movie here/there or if he was online on sites all day...but like the few girls above I think it can enhance things. Guys are very visual and I don't think they compare us to the books---they just like to see.
Luckily FH is not obsessed and will look at a book here/there or we'll watch a movie together, so its not truly a problem.
A guy I saw at one time though turned out to be a freak. He was on sites all day, even at work. He would download girls' pics & talked to girls from some freaky site. His porn collection took up one whole closet. Looking back I kick myself in the as# for not seeing it sooner. URRRRRRRRRR How disrespectful & disgusting.

I see nothing wrong with porn, as long as it's adults. DH and I occasionally watch porn together and I'v watched plenty of times without him- it helps me along.

i will admit that porn is not horrendous...and will admit, yes, i've watched it with dh and it does ...ahem...help the situation. but i DO NOT get, nor will i EVER get how some sites have these young girls, still in hs, and how on earth that is ok. i am not threatened by porn...in fact, it is funny. especially the really plastic women with DDDDD breasts... i know where i stand and i'm doing okay, but why, why why do some of the sites have teenagers on them!!!

I dont mind the playboys in fact they are in the bathroom right now and mags, or like the spice channel BUT I hate the computer and I hate teen porn of any kind. I dont know why but I just hate hate hate porn or nudity on the computer-

I don't know, I remember finding porn a LOT of it on an exes computer and I just didn't like that feeling. neither me or FH finds anything remotely erotic about porn, we find it trashy and gross...but definitely to each his/her own
