I am planning on making my first crock pot dinner this week and I have a great crock pot book with tons of easy recipes - I can't wait to use it

I've used mine a couple of times-made some great stew, chicken, chili. I usually don't plan my meals well-so starting something eight hours ahead of time is a challenge to me.

Have you left it on and left the house? I'm afraid to. I've only used it when I've been home all day so that I can keep an eye on the food.

Now that it's Fall, I use it more often... in the Winter I do as well. In ther Spring, not so often, and hardly ever in the Summer. And yes, I leave it on all day when I'm not home. Makes the house smell so yummy when you walk in!

i love my crockpot!!!! i also use it more often when the weather turns colder. there's nothing like getting up on a wintery day and throwing a nice pot roast in there. yummy!!!

I don't have a crockpot but I use a pressure cooker for pot roast (ginger snap which FH insists on and I hate), stew, etc.

never! I've had mine for about 2 years and haven't used it once.

I'm paranoid to leave it on while I'm at work - I have a thing with fire safety

Once a week since I bought it 3 weeks ago. Only on Sundays though because I am out of the house 10 hours a day and I don't need that much time to make something...LOVE IT!

LOL today I am home waiting for my new couch to be delivered and I want to make something in my crock pot - and I have all the ingredients - but I am scared to leave it on after I leave for work later.

I think I will wait til a weekend day that I am home.

(When I had my own kitchen) at least once a week. So easy and so much you can do with it!!!!

I got one at my shower and havent used it once. I keep saying I have to, but I dont. Hopefully after Thanksgiving sometime I will make something with it.
