I am still torn on what to do. I want my hair to be seen, but I love the look of the veil on top, very traditional!

One of the reasons I am putting the veil on the bottom is so that my hair can be seen!

I think you have to see it on you before you can decide. I also loved the traditional look of the veil on top, but I HATED, with a capital H, how I looked with all of my hair back and not really showing. You have to feel beautiful on your wedding day, so play around with your hair and veil before you make any decisions. Good luck, and have fun!

Did you try the whole get up on. Veil,dress and headpiece together. Which everone makes you in awe then thats the style.

I'm wearing my veil in the back because I look much better this way. Also, since I'm getting married in the summer, I figure the veil in the back would be much cooler than on top. But you have to try both styles to see how you look. good luck!

I wore mine on top similar to JENHOS. I also wore the fingertip layer all night and it didn't bother me at all. I love how it looks....I never thought I would.
Also, being my dress was detailed I wanted to keep my hair simple. I think the veil in the back looks better with a more detailed hair-do.
I think I am going traditional. I will wear it on top, with my tiara comb. Then maybe I can remove the veil at some point and show off the hair! LOL I just know my FH would want to see the hair, but he likes the veil on top too. He is making me crazy!

On top - I think it just frames the face really nicely. I originally wanted to wear my hair down, so I was going to leave the veil on all night, to not disrupt my hair, but I'm not sure about my hair anymore.

I'm wearing my hair half up with the veil on top, but not right on top of my head, the comb will be placed right over where my hair is up like this (sorry so fuzzy)
