not asking you to name your florist, but just curious what kinds of things went wrong
my flowers were supposed to be a very dark rich red color to match my BM's wine colored dresses. I even went with my florist to the wholesale flower shop to pick out the flowers with him. He showed me flowers that I held next to a fabric swatch from my BM dresses and they matched nicely. So that is what I was expecting. Right before my wedding, my florist delivered the bouquets and left before I could even see him. I figured out why he disappeared so quickly when I saw that the flowers were bright red!!! He obviously must have known they were the wrong color, especially since he had wrapped the bouquets in ribbons that did match the BM dresses. Bright red roses wrapped in wine colored ribbons. In my opinion it clashed horribly. I called him right away to see if he could do anything at all for me. Even get cheap flowers somewhere that would just be plain white or something. But he was rude to me and acted like I was being ridiculous, saying that they were quality flowers. Yes, they were nice roses, but the completely wrong color!!! Since the ceremony was about to start, I had no choice but to use the flowers, but I still cringe whenever I see them in my wedding photos.
