POLL: Invitation in progress - square or rectangle?
I am designing our invites. I think I know which one I am going with, but figured I'd take a poll. Square or rectangle? Any pros/cons to either one? I will work on scaling the design on the left of the rectangular one as I feel it 'overpowers' the text a bit.
BTW - the design is a Latvian one - the sun symbol is prevalent in the church and my girls will be wearing brown, so I figured it would be a nice way to tie some things together...

I like squares but if its a light invite, it will cost you a surcharge to mail. But if its going to be heavy anyway, it wont matter unless you make the RSVP square.

I like the rectangle, just looks nicer, no real basis to my opinion though

I love the way square looks but rectangle might fit better in mailboxes.

i want to go square and created mock-ups of 6.25 vs 7.25, the 7.25 were huuuuuuge, i like the 6.25
ETS: haven't figured out what to do with the RSVP's yet

I also like the square better, but the regtangle might be easier in the mail or when stuffed into people's mailboxes..

rectangle because you have to spend more $ on postage for square (i think!!) and they don't go through the sorting machines (which girls by the way, they ALL DO, regardless if they are hand cancelled or not. the sorting happens when it gets to the destination's Post office)
They are both pretty though!
(edited because like a dolt I forgot to tell you they were pretty)

I think the square is more money for postage and it will probably fit better in the mailboxes

I picked the square ones. They look better to me.
