my registry recommendation is to register for what ever you like & will use. its everyone choice how much they want to spend. maybe 2 people will chip in & buy it together.
as for duvet covers: i can't stand them. when you put the comforter inside it always ends up moving & it just so annoying IMO.

I feel like in general duvets are pricey so if you really like it you should put it one.... the worse that can happen is no one buys it... then i am sure you will end up with gift cards you can go get it with anyway!
