It's on theknot's checklist of things to do for the day of the wedding. Is anyone sending out wedding announcements?

We weren't originally planning on sending out announcements, but since we had to cut our guest list from 200+ to 30, we want to send out announcements to everyone who would have gotten an invitation, so that those who don't actually know what's going on with us won't feel like they were not invited and will know that we moved the wedding up a few months and changed it entirely.
Pardon the run-on sentence.

No, but we did submit to the NYT and they ran our announcement.

Nope...I didn't sen them out. I'm not sure if its too late for that. I also did not have an E party, but I do plan on sending out Save-the-dates!

We are not going to send out announcements to friends or family but we are going to send something to the local paper.
