I tried on the ivory, and some other bride I didn't even know came up to me to tell me that it looked really good with my coloring. Then, later, after I had chosen that gown, I tried on a white one and everyone, my mom, the sales ladies, other customers, looked at me and all said, 'Ivory.' The white kinda washed me out. I'm blonde and pale.

White. I wanted Ivory/champagne, but it's too close to my skin color and made me look washed out.

Mine is pearl. The bridal salon said it's the designers version of ivory, but it doesn't look ivory-ish to my mother and I...more like a soft, off-white.

I wore and ivory dress, but that was only because the manufacturer lost my original white dress. Fortunately, I got the same style but I was really lucky--there happened to be an ivory one in a size that fit me lying around the warehouse.

Mine was an Ivory dress. I ordered white, but it came in Ivory and there was no time to return it for the white. But in the end, I loved the color

My dress is diamond white (you cant tell the difference) the dress I wanted didnt come in ivory otherwise I would have gotten ivory-it came in gold and I didnt like it on me

My dress is cognac (kind of a taupe, mauve, pink). I knew I didn't want a white dress to begin with due to my fair skin, and the fact that I wanted to be untraditional when it came to my dress. I assumed I'd end up with an ivory/light gold dress.

However, when I tried on my 'Scarlet O'Hara' dress (as I affectionately call it), I just loved it. I immediately knew it was 'the one.'

My dress is ivory. I originally wanted white, but my dress did not come in white. Plus, I think the ivory works best with my skin tone.

Mine is mostly white with ivory(almost beige) accents along the top and bottom - I am ultra pale and I liked the beige better against my skin, but I still loved the white :)

I did fell in love with a gown that was ivory and pale green - but because of how the skirt was made it couldn't be shortened - I'm 5'2' so i wouldn't have been able to get heals tall enough and still be able to walk
