Poll: Jewerly

My sister passed away a few years ago, and my mom has since taken a liking to angels. I was thinking of getting this for her for her birhtday but don't know what letter to get. Its a letter pendant in gold, with a white gold angel around it.

Should I get:
A: Because mom's real name is Ann
C: Because everyone calls Mom, Candy
V: Because it was the first letter of my sisters name.

What a thoughtful gift! My only concern about using your sister's initial is if people asked your mom about the necklace, like 'oh, I thought your name was Ann (or Candy)' and she would have to explain about losing her daughter. Would she be okay with talking about it, especially to strangers?

I'm pretty sure she'd be okay with that. Besides, everyone knows, and a stranger probably won't ask what her name is. I'm leading towards the V since it has the angel; like the name of the angel is Vanessa.

Yes, I'm bias because my name is Veronica, but also because it does sorta of honor your sister and is can be close to your mother's heart.

definitely I'd get her the 'V' ..

And I think this is one of the best ideas I've ever heard -- a wonderful way to both honor your sister and comfort your Mother

I was thinking the V, b/c the angel would be your sister, but then looking at it , its like the angel is guarding the letter, so then it would be your mom's name. But I think your mom would like it to be about your sister, since its in honour of her, so I'd go with the V.
