Poll-leaving veil on or taking off for reception?

I was going to remove my veil for the reception but was told most brides leave it on. What is everyone doing??

You are only a bride ONE day of your life. Thats my opinion.
Good Luck whatever you decide.

I think I will leave it on all day...unless it really bothers me.

My sister left hers on all day, and I'd like to do the same. She had one small problem though...many guests greeted her with a hug, and when the put their arms around her, they'd pull on the veil. Not really a big deal, but something that started to drive her a little crazy!

I was planning to take it off, but I bought the kind that goes in the back & it's not that long, so I think I'll leave it on.

I'll leave mine on for a short time because I get headaches when I have clips and things on my head.

I'm leaving mine on for the whole time. I think it truly makes you look like a bride!

Off with it, it makes it easier for hugging etc.

I'm leaving mine on. There's only one time in my life where I'll be able to wear it, and it's staying on for as long as I can.
I've also heard from brides who have taken it off that they regretted it and wished they had it on for more pictures and things. The last 3 weddings I went to the bride kept her veil on the entire night.

I'm going to wait and see if it starts bothering me, or if it starts getting pulled, etc.

I think I'd like to keep in on, but reality might prove otherwise.

I wore mine just for photos and the ceremony. I was much more comfortable without it on, and LOVED my hair style so I wanted to show it off

I kept my veil on all day! and I would tell any bride to be, to please, please keep it on. It is ONE day for the rest of your life to feel like a princess and you will! Not to mention, there is no mistaken who the bride is when the pictures come back. You will love your pictures even more when you see yourself in them. And to all the ladies who think it will get in the way..it won't mine was to my elbow and I ate and danced my a$$ off and it was no problem. Good Luck
