Re: Poll: Menu
I've never had pumpkin soup [or heard of it to be honest] so honestly, I'd love to at least experience that. That is something different/unique and seasonal....I would find it very cool to have that served to me at a wedding!

Re: Poll: Menu
This is at Land's End isn't it? I was just there and had the Thai Halibut and it was amazing!! The potatoes that come with the steak are great too. (I was picking at FH's plate) All of the food there is good so I'm sure you won't be disappointed with any of it.

Actually it is Flowerfield... they have such good food, same company as Land's End so that's why the food is similar. I really like menu choice one though b/c it's different and it goes so well with the fact that she is getting married right before halloween!! I love it!! hmmm-- they are both really nice, yikes!! I don't know what to do!!!

Re: Poll: Menu
Both menus sound delish. I love pumpkin soup (one of my faves) but lobster tail is always awesome. If it were just you and your fh going out to dinner, which menu would you choose, he choose and your family and his choose. Go with your gut instinct.

Re: Poll: Menu
I LOVE the ideas of the pumpkin soup dish, that is so unique...I think you are going to get a 'WOW' from your guests!
I like # 1 but then again I am having the Lobster and Shrimp Crepe and Filet at Lands End.

Re: Poll: Menu
I think the pumpkin soup sounds great. I don't eat seafood, and I think there are quite a few people that are in the same boat as me. I am a vegetarian, I already feel weird enough getting the 'special' entree, I wouldn't want to have to get a 'special' first dish as well.
