POLL: Need your opinion girls!

As some of you might know - I am doing the 'odd' theme of 'The Perfect Pair' so there is a play on words with the fruit, the pear.

So - i just came across another idea for placecards - which one do you think is better and why??-

Brass is fancier IMO. BUt I do like the porcelein ones, too, but I think the brass will be better for the wedding.

I like the brass better....classier looking, BUT the porcelain is a 'pair' of pears!

yeah, gotta go with the brass....very classy looking, unless of course your wedding is very casual. then the other might work better

The brass is more elegant...the porcelain is more whimsical. Depends on the look you're going for. I voted for the brass.

i'm leaning toward the brass ones also - i do want the elegant look - just like the fact that the porcelain ones are a pair...

FH likes the brass ones also- guess -the decision is made -

I love the brass! It's more of a wedding place card! Where did you find something like that?

I like the brass too. (JMO, but make sure your other accessories (like table numbers)are brass/gold too)

Martha Stewart weddings had a picture of wrapped (real) pairs for favor. thought of you!

I like the porcelain, you could have it in your kitchen with your grocery list or something in it. The brass would not go with anything and would probably be thrown away.

I really like the Porcelain, but it depends on your hall, etc.. The brass is more classy, but they procelain are SO CUTE

Thanks for the opinions girls -

The procelain ones are from crate and barrel and the brass ones are from www.wedthings.com.

I am probably going to go with the brass but FH and I decided to buy some procelain ones for when we have friends over for dinner - as placesetting cards.

For table names we are going to have wax pears hanging from and ornament holder - still working on that though
