We went to 1 before the watermill....

I always LOVED the watermill but thought it would be out of our range.....but turns out that we could do and we booked on the spot!

We checked out 3 - obviously fell in love with VYC

I wanted to do it at the Riverhead Aquarium, but that was so out of my price range.

My sister and FH had both been to events at the Riviera so I was pretty sure I was going to have it there. We liked everything about it, but honestly, I just didn't have the 'wow' factor with them.

I fell in love with the Swan Club the second I saw online photos. But It was so beautiful and Roslyn is a very nice neighborhood, I just assumed it was out of my price range. When we got the price quote, I was floored. It was cheaper than the other places!!!

The Riviera was nice, but the fact they ONLY do 1 affair at a time, which is what I liked, also turned out to be the thing that worked against me. I wouldn't have been able to have the ceremony start time (5:30/sunset) that I wanted there.

We looked at 5 maybe but we always knew Larkfield was where we wanted it... just had to make sure though

Larkfield was our first RH visit and they 'WOW'ed us ....I felt no one else compared to them!

My parents were kind enough to visit at least 10 places and we saw 4 when we came in to LI...although i pretty much knew it was WM when i first saw the website in April

We checked out 15. Pretty much all of them, lol.

ETA: Giorgio's was our first we looked at. But we wanted to make sure so we looked at more. Nothing compared.

seriously i think we looked at 20 places or more

we wanted flowerfield but thought we couldn't afford it..so we looked for something that was just as great...

thankfully we waited...cause we got flowerfield:)
