Whether you live in an apt,house or townhouse, are you friends with your neighbors? Do you keep to yourself?

@ my parents house - it was like a block party every night growing up. so - yes i grew up being friendly w/ the neighbors and continue that today. (or @ least try to) some neighbors i would like to run from.

I live in a large apartment complex. I have never been around so many people who keep to themselves. Apartment living doesn't really seem to foster a lot of friendships. It was different when I was growing up in a house. I knew everybody and was friendly with everybody.

I put 'avoid like the plague' but I do always say hello and hold the door for people and everything. I just live in a very unfriendly building. Fairly often I don't get a thank you for holding the door and barely get a reply to the hellos. Sheesh!

I put avoid like the plague too, some of my neighbors are really weird!!! There are a couple that are pretty nice and will say hello but, most of them are a little wacky.

went with the plague. which is a little unfair, but we just moved in and the people across the street gave me looks for moving DH's car out of the driveway so i could put mine there to bring in groceries...F them!
