I'm goaling to be right on budget (maybe a couple of hundred dollars over), but I'm counting everything in my overall costs, down to the new dress that I bought for my shower.

we're pretty good with the budget...and i had accounted for going a little over on my doj or dress.....so with that stuff.....whatever is over than what we had agreed on....i'm paying for out of my savings.

Honestly, we never sat down and put together a budget. We're just paying for things as they come up.

no seriously, we dont even have budget....its so bad....we spent a lot on the things we really wanted the most - photo/video.....we know our DJ (FH works for them sometimes for extra cash) so we can save there - we also know the drummer we are having and he hooked us up with a string trio - so we got a good deal on that stuff - and those vendors were most important to us....
at this rate we arent going to have any flowers at our wedding!

I had a budget, but it was so unrealistic, I had no idea...so now we are just trying to be reasonable.
