After much searching, I finally found a reasonably priced round kitchen table where you can add a leaf and extend it... however, Im not sure which color... We haven't moved into the house yet, so im not sure what colors we are going to do the kitchen... i guess I want a table color that will last a super long time and go with our changing tastes... does that make sense??
i like the black i think it'll go nicely with a lot of different things

what does the kitchen look like?
depending on the table material if unsure i personally would go light and make it darker yourself if you change your mind. we have had a light wood table that has served us well and we could stain darker if need be.
we were having a hard time with a dining room table and then finally decided to make the top ourselves (with some enlisted help as we know not what we are doing) because we have nice maple pedestal to work with. for the top we will get matching wood and monochromatic tile to match the colors we selected for the room.

i like the idea of a light table with a darker floor or dark table/lighter flooring. does that make sense? that's what would guide me if i were choosing.

hmm... thanks for your advice!!! I really want a mahagony colored table... im thinking that imjust going to keep looking... i like the black, but im scared that color will kind of go out of style... i also like the white and ivory, but i feel like that has more of a country look, which im not going for in the kitchen... decisions decisions!!!
