See... it really depends on what the 'hurt' was, I guess. Sometimes it's just not worth wasting the time & energy it takes to hate and spite enough to carry out your vengeance....

This is going to sound a little cheesy, and I'm sooo not a cheesy person, but the best vengance is living well and being happy.

I've been REALLY hurt by people and although my first instinct is to fk with them in cruel and unusual ways, I've seen that smiling in the face of someone who wants to see you in pain only will infuriate them instead. I think its much more satisfying than wasting energy and reducing yourself to someone else's level.
