I am hand writing the thank you cards of course but now sure on the envelopes. I hate to be tacky so which is the best way to put the guest name/address on the mailing envelopes. TIA!

I don't think it matters. I personally use labels just because I don't feel like writing them all out.

I think the only time labels are not okay is on an actual wedding invitation. Go with the labels and save yourself the headaches and hand cramps lol

Labels are okay for thank your but not for the actual wedding invite.

Labels labels labels. For shower invites, and I don't mind them for wedding invites either (but I have always been alone with this feeling on LIW). I didn't use labels for my wedding invites bc my sister bought a fancy printer to print directly on the envelopes, but I always thought this was a silly rule....I don't think anyone will be offended because instead on writing their name you typed it into an excel sheet and hit print.

Either way, just find the right labels, clear, white, ivory, shiny or matte and you will be fine, certainly for the shower thank yous!
