Poll time need your opinions

Poll time need your opinions

Ok, so my FH grew up next door to a family with 2 girls the same age as him and his siblings. I have to start off by saying their mom is not nice to FH mom.

So, about 2 years ago, the one i met got married.... My FH and I were invited and we went. 1 1/2 weeks before the wedding, they invited the rest of FH family because she did not meet her minimum. FH parents ended up going to the wedding but his bro and sis did not. Then this neighbor got pregnant. My FH mom was ready to buy a gift(because she thought it would be nice to give her a baby gift), when she finds out from another neighbor that there was a babyshower and Fh mom was the only one on the block not invited.
So now, this woman....the mom of the neighbor is not nice to me either, and in fact, was extremely rude to me the last time I saw her. I would go into it, but it is long.... let me know if you want me to....

So now, FH mom wants this woman and her husband invited because she gave their daughter a nice gift, and would like the gift back. She also does not want to feel weird if she sees her in front of the house one day. I absolutely do NOT want them invited because she is rude to both my FMIL and myself, and I don't need a gift that bad. What do you think.......

I would only invite to meet your min if needed. You don't invite guests for their gifts!

I agree.. Invite if you're struggling to meet your minimum.
As for the gift thing... If they are that nasty and rude, I wouldn't expect as good a gift as your FH gave them.
On the other hand, you could take the higher road and invite them anyway... tricky... personally I wouldn't take the higher road and do exactly what was done to my family by them... if that makes sense!
Good luck!
