I agree, they are sad. I thought you were going to honor him, cause he had passed away.

Don't know if he is older, but I have 3 older bros and am dedicating 'Thank you' by Natalie Merchant...or is the name Kind and Generous?

Yes...I think they are...IMHO If you danced with somebody to this I would think that somebody you were in love with had pasded and you were honoring them at your wedding for some reason. What about My Wish For You by Rascal Flatts? I know it's hard to find a good sibling song but like I said these remind me of a past love who died.

I think both songs are fine to dance to with your brother. I never once thought the songs were about someone who died. I'm sure most people won't read too much into it.

I chose the Faith Hill song because I like Faith, and also because the Remember Me This Way song was my prom song, and I remember thinking it was a horrible prom song choice.

Those all make me REALLY sad to listen to. I'm also moving away for a little while after the wedding. i was considering doing that song 'There You'll Be' with my mother. It's a nice one. But I might not... i'm afraid of depressing people (and myself). My family is definitely a bunch of criers!

I really like Remember me this Way...there you'll be makes me sad... if it helps I danced with my brothers to 'Thankyou for loving me' by bon jovi.. i've also seen 'Through the years' by kenny rodgers..'You raise me up' by josh groban... there are so many - bottom line, everyone will have an opinion on it..if YOU like the song, then do it
