My mom loves purple, but she is probably going to go with a lavender or lilac. My FMIL also wants to wear lilac.

My mom is wearing Black,
she is was all worried and asked if it was ok, cause I guess back in the day it was no good.

I was like its fine, if you find a dress you loved I dont care what color, I havent seen dress,
Mom lives in SC

Future mother in law, hasnt bought yet, she asked what my mom was wearing bc she was told she was supposed to let my mom pick her color first then get hers, I told her not to worry and get what she likes

We are getting married in May. My BMs are wearing an apple red, my mom is wearing an a darker ivory and my FMIL is thinking about mocha. I thought this was dark for a may wedding but I really don't care.

I told her to pick out any color she wanted. She ended choosing a navy with silver swirls up the side. I think she only looked at Davids Bridal. But thats the one she wanted. She does have time still but she wanted to get that over with

My Mom wore mahogany brown and my stepmom wore glaret. Both were great colors.

My mom wore plum to my wedding and my BM wore wine/bordeaux. The top of the dress was strapless and beaded. She only wore the jacket for church and some pictures. (She didn't love the jacket but she had it tapered to be a little more stylish and took it off as soon as the party started). The dress also had a big slit in the back.

jennbaby-I just also remember your BM's are wearing lavendar. For my brother's wedding in August, the BM wore lavendar and my mom wore champagne. It looked nice together. Here's some pictures:

My mom hates this shot of her...but it was the best one I have that shows the lavendar and champagne together...

Your mom's dresses are so nice. My mom I think wants to wear beige or champaigne. His mom I think she said she wanted to wear Peach or something. We're getting married Sept 2004.

They have some time and both are doing weight watchers so they're waiting on there dress for a little.

jennbaby-thanks! I do not have a sister. That is actually my little cousin! She is 19 and I am 30! So many people told me that we look alike at my wedding! It is funny because we all think she takes after her father's side of the family not her mother's (and she is my mom's sisters daughter!)
