I picked other because mine are candles, not sure if thats 'low' These are ours...But we are having 12 votives and in the middle some pillar candles(maybe)
Mine are low. My wedding is a Sunday afternoon and I'm personally not to crazy about the high centerpieces. I feel that you can't talk to others with such high centerpieces.

I agree. They kind of get in the way. But I really like the ones that are just a single color.

I'm not crazy about them anyway, but my hall has low ceilings & I am going for a rustic look, so low is better. wanna see. . .? ( but there will be candles in it & the hyndrangea isn't supposed to be so purple)
I'm planning on having a low centerpiece. Something very neat and clean cut (no leaves or petals around the table). And, definately candles!

Mine is a low but not really low. I have a romanic clay pot but made to look like the outside of a villa in italy. It is about 12 inches tall, then i have a really full almost football shaped flowers, different types of roses, mostly white, yellow, orange, red with some deep red gerbera daises, pepper flowers, and some greenery. They are absolutely beautiful and the best part guests can bring home the container with the flowers!! and they are only costing me 125 bucks each. This is a picture of my bouquet, centerpieces will be very similiar.
No pics yet..but it's basically a stick wreath covered in autumnal flowers and colors with this beautiful metal, leaf cut out candle holder in hte middle. They are short enough that people can talk to eachother, but high enough to be noticable.

Re: Poll: What style is your centerpiece?
i was thinking the room needed to have high centerpieces because of its space but then i saw low centerpieces set up on one of the days we visited and i think they looked great so we're going with low..not sure what design yet
Here are a couple pics of mine. I love the high ones in a big ballroom (how elegant) but since our room was more cozy, had oblong tables and lower ceilings, I thought the low CPs would suit it better
You cannot tell from the pics but I also had rose petals and votives all over the tables .. of course IMO it looked SO pretty

Inexpensive. Of all the weddings I've ever gone to I only remember one persons CP's and that's because FH was the BM and there were problems that I heard about for weeks after.
