Poll: Where did you have/are you having your Bridal Shower?

If you know, or newlyweds: Where did you have your Bridal Shower ? Did you enjoy the room/food/service?

Did your parents or did your bridal party pay for it?

I had mine at Monihan's in Bayside. I loved every moment of it. My Mom paid.

My mom had it at La Parma in Oceanside on merrick rd, the service and food was OUTSTANDING- my mom payed for the place and the girls( 7) all chipped in 125 each for favors, and gift.

Do they have a party room for like 50 gals?
Someone recommended Ciao! in Oceanside - I wonder how that place is?

i had mine at Cork 'n Board, it was very good, and from what i understand the girls got a good deal there!! i would check it out. i also recommend La Parma in Oceanside, i love that place!

I am having mine at a firehouse where fh's family is pretty involved in. its nice cause the room is huge and it will VERY comfortably fit 80 or so people. my parents are paying for the entire thing as far as I know, but my bm's will help w/ whatever she needs. she is having it catered but i am not sure by who, she is trying to keep most of it a suprise!

Mine was amazing...it was at Land's End.

My sister's was also wonderful... it was at Watermill.

Mine will be in the backyard of my uncle's house in NJ. My mom is paying for everything.

Stonebridge in hauppauge, LOVED it, great service, great food, great view..my Mom paid for it (most of my BMs are my sisters and cousin in school with no money!)

mine is going to be at pier 95 in freeport in july. so far my mother and sister love it, and said that the chef they deal with (ramiro) has been great.

Mine was at Garden Grill in Smithtown. Food and service were great. My MOH and her Mom paid for a lot of it, and then my bridesmaids each chipped in.

Mine is going to be at Lady Mendl's Tea Salon in NYC. I've had high tea there before and the food and service are excellent. Randella had her shower there as well and gave it an excellent review. Hope this helps

Yes the room holds 75 but they said 60 comfortably b/c of all the gifts.
