Going to hawaii in a week. Is it ok for me to use my summery white leather purse?
Does the not until memorial day apply if it is hot there?
I know this is a silly question but should I pack it, or else all I have is a wintery black one....

People use white leather bags year round nowadays. The whole 'white before labor day' rule is something from our mom's day and age. Use it if you want.

I'm not a fashion maven, but wouldn't that be OK because it's resort wear? Resort wear being the summery clothes one wears when going from cold home climates to warm climates on vacation. If you feel inclined, thumb through some fashion magazines to see if white purses are being featured, but it sounds OK to me and I wouldn't kill myself trying to verify.
