I think whoever drives it last, should put the gas in when they see the tank below half

Whoever is driving it fills it when needed. However, since we only use the car on the weekends, we're usually both in it, and then brad does the actual filling up.

We each have our own cars - but we switch frequently. He is known to always be on E - and only get $10 when he does go to the gas station. Whereas I am known to always 'fill it up'. Depending on our schedules, he can go months without visiting a gas station - but I'm there every other day.

Pretty much same here. Unless I am driving his car and I notice it is low, then I will fill it up. We both just use Mobil/Exxon's 'speed pass' anyway. DH always fills when it is about 1/4 left. I let it get to E usually.

we each have our own & are responsible for our own cars....If we are on vacation though, we usually split it...i never let my car go below 1/4 of a tank..gas prices are TOO high

I gas up my car he does his. We only use my car on the weekend so he does mine on the weekend.

I always go to Full service pump and he gets mad- so I guess I pay for it but i never put it in- if he is with me he will do it

We both have our own cars, so we take care of our own. He drives a LOT more than I do though, so he fills up a lot more. When he drives, he always lets it go to 'E', but I usually fill up when there's a quarter of a tank left.
ETA: If for some reason I have to borrow his car, I'll fill the tank, and vice versa, but that rarely happens.

whenever i get gas, i put regular in..dh insists on getting gas because he has to get super. it also bothers him that i can't pump my own gas.oh well..

He puts the gas in his own car.
As for my car, if we are together, he will get out and pump the gas. If I am by myself, I will do it.

We each have our own cars so we are responsible for them. Before I was laid off, though, DH was driving my car (I took the train) so he could keep his warranty until the date it expired rather than the mileage and then he filled up my car since he drove it the most.

We each put gas in our own cars...but if we shared a car, I'd probbaly make him get the gas. i HATE going. I'll let anyone borrow my car (which i hate doing) if tey say they'll buy me gas b/c I don't like going to the gas station. i always get hit on
