Music by Michael. He's not for everyone, because he's not like most of the other DJs, but if you want something taylored to your likes and dislikes and want the personal attention, you might want to check with him.
He's also reasonably priced for what he offers. He's a vendor here, but here's the link to his website:
You can also do a search on him here; I don't think I've seen a single negative review of him.

We are usin g Big Hits in East Meadow. they were a house of our hall and highly recommended by friends of minbe. I think they were fairly affordable less than $2000. Any questions FM.

We are using Platinum Productions in Farmingdale.
He was the first DJ we went to see and he made us feel so comfortable that we booked with him that night. In my opinion we did not need to look any further and he has a ton of extras you can add at reasonable prices.

we're using absolute entertainment, they are reasonable and accomodating. i am also very organized and their style of business really appealed to me. good luck!

Music by Michael was so amazing at our wedding, and very affordable. Please FM me if you want details. He was so wonderful that one of my best friends booked him to do her wedding. He really made our reception a success!

Christy, when we booked him, he mentioned you! There really just is something about him that makes you feel like he really wants to make your day about you and no one else. We booked him on the spot!
(I sound like a walking advertisement for him...sorry! We were just blown away and I didn't even look at any other DJs.)

Another vote for Music by Michael! He was exactly what we were looking for, 'cheese free', classy, but could still get the party going. We didn't even bother to look at any other DJ's. I think he's reasonably priced as well.

We're using Absolute entertainment . FH liked them because Jeff wasn't too pushy the price was good and if needed things can be added.

We booked Get In Tune DJs.Glen is a sweet heart to work with.Go see them at a showcase,they are not corny they put on a great show.They are recommened on this site.

High Energy. They did exactly what we wanted and were great. we got 5 hours of music which included the cocktail hour, DJ and MC, and 150 give aways. We opted out for no lights because i don't like them, but they were also included. Our package was $1000.

In the Mood- FH didn't like any dj at any wed we went to- after my sis's wed, we booked them. We didn't even look around for another dj. They emailed or faxed me a price list- i'm sure they'd do that for you too. Tell them Abbey's sister recomended them. THey are in smithtown on terry road

My sister used Chris at LI Sound. His package was about $1300 and he was absolutely amazing. The dace floor was packed all night, he listened to what she wanted - and played only what her and her hubby requested - he wasn't cheesey or obnoxious. Put on a great party.
