You can smell.. but may not detect as much a others do!.. In the other situation, it causes YOU the displeasure. I say 2is correct. JMO

NO WAY JOSE!!! I am a smell freak..hence my obsession with perfume.. BUT i would rather be embarrased for someone else's stickiness than my own!!!

If you ever stink so bad that you offend yourself. MUCH WORSE
If it's someone else that sticks you can walk away. can't really walk away from yourself.

I would say that I wouldnt want to smell bad. If you are near someone that smells bad you could always walk away...If its you that smells you are stuck with the smell

because you might be desensitized to your own smell or not think you smell that bad
