I love the dress I got. I would have loved a different one but it was about 2K out of my budget so it wasnt an option. I Cant get upset about things I cannot control. It doesnt make me love my dress any less though.

I adore my dress. Even though its not what I envisioned, its exactly what I want. I love the way it makes me look. I hope I dont start having doubts as the day gets closer.
I feel the exact same way

Re: Poll - Your dress
Its total opposite of what I thought I would wind up with but it's the most beautiful dress I've ever seen and I love it so much.

Re: Poll - Your dress
found the dress - loved it. ordered it - got it delivered to my house - tried it on - didnt love it so much. Went to have fitting - put it on, looked in full length mirror - loved it again.
I think doubts are pretty common.

Re: Poll - Your dress
i must have tried on at least 15 dresses before finding mine....and before i tried it on i didn't like the way it looked at all
i'm a plain person and didn't want too much work on it but as soon as i put it on....it was perfect
i never believed them when they said how different something can look on you than on the hanger! i'm so glad i listened and tried it on!

Re: Poll - Your dress
im not sure if i fit in any of those categories...
i do like my dress very much, and i think that it flatters me well, however for it being my absolute dream dress, i dont know... i tried really hard to stay within a budget... but if i had an unlimited budget for my dress, who knows what i would have ended up with... i didnt allow myself to try on dresses over $1200... but i do like my dress very much and I am happy with it...

Re: Poll - Your dress
You know, i never really had the 'this is the one' type of experience and I think, for me at least, I was being really practical in the sense that although I loved other dresses, I didn't want to spend that kind of money on the dresses. So, I went with a Maggie that is beautiful and affordable and I love, love, love it but I know I probably would've loved, loved, loved other dresses that were out of my price range.

Re: Poll - Your dress
I really really love the dress I finally found last weekend. It didn't look anything amazing on the hanger but when I put it on I didn't want to take it off. After I paid the deposit I felt a little tiny bit of doubt...what if this isn't the dress? ....What if there is another dress out there that I would love even more but just haven't found yet? I also felt that there would now be no more trying on dresses....i have dreamed for so many years of going to stores and trying on wedding dresses that I couldn't help feel a little sad that dress hunting was over.

I will let you know after my second fitting
I loved it
then I had doubts
then it came in and I loved it
then I had my first fitting- and I wasn't so happy but mainly b/c I lost more weight and the proportions were off
I think I will be back in love after my second fitting
I think I'm gonna be just like you. I ordered my dress mid-September and since then I've lost 17lbs. My dress isn't even due in until January and I'm still losing, I am wondering how the dress will look after all of the alterations. I'm very nervous about this!
I loved my dress...but let's see what mood swings occur.

Re: Poll - Your dress
I definitely had the feeling of 'this is the one' when i put it on. I loved it and it was exactly what i was looking for. But after i bought it, i had doubts that maybe i should have looked around more (it was the fifth dress i tried on at the first bridal salon). But when i look at pictures of me in it, i love it all over again!
*My FSIL told me that a lot of people that she knows (her included) had buyers remorse at one point and that she didn't like her dress at one point either.
(i think its just such a long period of time (10 months or longer) to really question your decision about the dress, as i'm sure you all have about various other choices for your wedding). Planning your wedding in 4 months-a year or more is a lot of time to double and triple guess yourself. It happens!

Re: Poll - Your dress
I bought my Eve of Milady dress at a trunk show in 2004 for my July 2006 wedding & knew it was the 'one'. No regrets, ABSOLUTELY love it! I am wearing on the plane to my HM in Hawaii

I love my gown... It is my dream gown. When I saw it in the magazine I knew I just had to have it. But it was expensive so I tried on others and though one I tried on almost was the one, but, in the end it didn't compare to the gown I'm wearing! I'm so psyched! I cannot wait to wear it!!
