They are free in the studio, but I want them someplace outdoors and fun! I mean, how often does a photographer take pics of us?? lol
So, I'm thinking a few places...
1-Long Beach....nice beach with boardwalk..I'd like it around 7:30 pm so I could get sun pics and then sunset pics.
2- Garden City Gazebo....nice flowers and greenery....not sure if there's enough of a variety for me though.
3- City pics....in a park somewhere..not sure where though.
4- Times Square....don' t know how to make that work though.
Any advice? Where? How? When? Opinions welcome PLEASE! TIA

i took them at long beach so im a bit biased but i wish i did sunset pics, that sounds awesome!

I know, I was thinking that.....I'm not sure if our photographer would go there....FH might not like the idea since he works in Manhattan and escapes from the city when he's not at work LOL

I am a big fan of the beach. I wanted to get my wedding pics done at the beach after the ceremony on the way to the RH but I realize I will probably get sand all over my dress so that is out. So I vote for the beach. I think it is beautiful there esp. with a sunset.

did you decide on a place..yor photographer charges you? Our photo. gives you a free engagement session and we went for the beach!! it is fun, we felt like celebrities..everyone was looking at us haha

All of those are great places! We took our in central park so we got the buildings in the background and then we got som epark shots to. it looked rally good. I suggest that.

FH works in Manhattan and LOVES it there...I was thinking it would be nice to represent the city-girl in me and now FH's career....I have to really talk to our photographer to see what's going on!

I am all for free stuff but that is because I am a cheap skate, lol. I think the beach would look amazing though, I love the pic that is your avatar it looks like you 2 photograph amazing in the outdoors!

Thanks : ) That was at a friend's wedding the other day...it was out by a pond..had a gazebo and all pretty flowers..I love outdoor pics.

I love the beach. If i were getting married in the summer I'd want to do E-Pics at the beach. We plan on taking them at Central Park though. Im sure you can do Times Square and different places in the city too (get away from all the hustle and bustle)

i really think any of those locations are going to be amazing, I definately agree though that its not often that you get to take professional pics, so i would just go with your gut, and make sure your FH is 100% happy with hte location decision, honestly either one you cant go wrong

I agree...I always wanted to do them at the beach....then, as I started to think more and more, I thought of other places that would be nice too. Thanks and Central Park is going to be great!
