and was wondering what you girls would do... (I know it's kind of a sick thought, but just curious !) If you're FH and your sister were both thrown overboard and were drowning, and you could only save 1 of them, which one would it be???

well, I think it depends on how close you are to your sister In my case, I would have to choose FI.

If he was my FI & there were no children involved.... I would probably save my sister... Though, since I'm not in the situation I don't really know.
Knowing myself, I would probably break myself doing my ****dest to save both though!

Wow that's a difficult one! Just curious -- in what context was this asked? Was it supposed to show something?
I really don't know who it would be. I lean more towards my sisters just because I've spent my whole life with them. If I had children ... then maybe things would change - OMG I feel guilty for saying this!

I am an only child so I would only have to save my husband j/k I would not save any of them, what are they doing over board to begin with, putting me in this position. I don't know.

I don't have a sister (only child) so I'd have to say FI...but if I did have a sister I don't know. If I had kids also I'd probably still say FI b/c I don't think my sister would want my children to grow up without a father. If my sister was anything like FH's brother then I would definitely leave her overboard.

Re: Poll...I saw this on Oprah...
This is very tough, but I would save my sister becuase she is single mom and only she can handle my nephew. We are also 8 years apart and I have always taken care of her and that instinct would kick in.
