More tables with less people, or less tables with more people?

I rather have more table with less people. I hate be stuffed into a table where when one persons needs to get up every people has to shift around. JMO

I sort of have the same dilemma...do I do 8 tables of 10 people or 10 tables of 8....less tables means less CPs and that means less money.

I would ask to see a set up first of both to get an idea.

You're going to have to let me know how it works out with your setup. I heard you can have up to 14 tables in the oak room and we might have to. Damn overflowing guest list!

One thing to think about: More tables mean more centerpieces which means more $$$$.

I'd rather have more people and less tables. I think when there's too many tables the room can sometimes look cluttered and too packed. Plus there's less CPs that way!

ETA: Plus with people squished at a table they'll be more likely to get up and dance!!

I might run into this problem also...I prefer less tables with more people. Most people will be up and moving around throughout the reception so they won't be seated the whole time anyway.
