Polymyositis is begining to affect my BIL's Heart

He has had it for years, but has increasingly becoming worse. Its a degenerative muscle disease which eventaully effects the heart...which is where he is at now. He already has a pacemaker due to other heart problems. He was 3 children and has been married 11-12 years. They have been through so much in the past few years, I can't believe this is happening. The family lost my FIL back in 95 tragically, then my other BIL died suddenly at the age of 30 in 99 leaving behnd his 2 kids and my SIL. Now this. My MIL is simply terrified of losing anyone else close. She thinks she will have to beput away. DH & MIL do not know yet. So I am freaking out. He needed to talk, but he wants to tell them. I know my MIL will be devasted as am I. I have been n tears all night.

I need alot of hugs. I can't even express in words the trauma the family has already undergone. the thought of something happening again freaks me out.

I just found out that on tuesday he has to have surgery on his knee. It is very bad and if they don't do it there will be nothing to save! what next!

I need a good stiff drink, but I can't drink cause of my epilepsy! So I will take a cranberry, pinnapple and orange juice shken not stirred.
