Pomanders

I would like my flower girls to carry pomanders (a ball of flowers carried by a ribbon) since they are not allowed to throw petals in my church.

Has any bride ever had them for her wedding? If so, how long did they last?

We used one for our FG. It was great for her and a perfect size. It held up throughout the ceremony, but started to fall apart as she was walking back down the aisle after the ceremony. The poor little thing froze and didn't know what to do! Luckily one of my guests helped her pick it up and move along
