Well once again, slow day at work (ps- I still HATE it here)
I've been on every website I could think of... (that's local) and I still haven't found what I'm looking for in terms of a wedding dress. I always wanted a BIG POOFY PRINCESS dress... and I've tried a few on here and there... but nothing that gave me that FEELING!
There's a christina wu dress I'm in love with, but I think I tried it on and it looked dumb, as I'm 4'10 and it's a super low dropped waist..
ANYWAY, I'm babbling.. I figured to pass the time, could you ladies post pictures of BIG dresses, strapless... um, I don't want anything too plain, but I don't want anything too busy. if you look at my albums there's pics of dresses I've tried on and of my e-ring, as my e-ring is antique looking, I want something to match...
::sigh:: does that make sense.. so pictures please or links
(sorry I'm all over the place, of course when I say it's a 'slow day' the phone starts ringing and I loose my train of thought)

Try Mary's PC Bridal!! The website has a tons of them and they are reasonably priced too...less than 1K.
the 4th dress in your album looked beautiful & very flattering on you!

First of all – relax! If you haven’t found “the” dress yet, you still have plenty of time. Since you aren’t getting married for another 1.5 years, you could order your dress 6 or even 8 MONTHS from now and still have plenty of time for it to come in. Go to some more stores and keep your eyes open when flipping through magazines and websites. You’ll find something you love. Don’t get so hung up on matching your e-ring to your dress, either. Wear what you love, whether it’s modern, vintage or whatever! And don’t forget to try on different silhouettes. Just b/c you pictured yourself wearing a ball gown doesn’t mean you have to buy one. Oh, and don’t forget how many new styles will still come out over the next couple of months. The worst thing you can do is settle on a dress now and then find the perfect dress 4 months down the road.
With that said – I liked a lot of the dresses in your album! I have faith you’ll fall in love with something soon.

Go to Kleinfelds Website You can pick and choose what kinds of dresses. Its a very cool tool.

mary's isn't sold in NY (supposedly) kleinfields is TOO expensive, but i do play with their website a lot
i think i was more interested in seeing pictures of poofy dresses, without looking FOR them.

I feel your pain, I spent a REALLY long time looking at dresses...I loved a lot of the ones I tried on, and I just couldn't choose...but this one was different...anyway, pics of me in my album (don't have pics of my first fitting ) haven't had time to upload!!

I LOVE the 6th one from the bottom (your left hand on your hip). I think the sweetheart-ish neckline is very flattering.

mine is a mary's and i bought it in ny...it's actually sold in quite a few places here on the island...burtons, estelle's, and pretty much most of the one's I went into...

Yes they are.....I have a local place that sells them in West Hempstead and they have a store in Queens that also sells them. You should definitely check into it.
